Yes, as with all feedback there are negatives, some of which has merit. I prefer to focus on the positives as there are plenty of keyboard warriors to take care of the negatives.
For starters the location is ideal, from Balga it is less than 15 minutes drive to either the City or the beach. You can also access Reid Highway for an 18 minute drive to the airport. These figures are traffic and weather dependant but I am sure you get the picture.
For such a centrally located suburb, Balga rental prices offer great value. A new or near new 3-bedroom villa currently rents for between $290 and $350 a week. You can also pick up old homes on 700 square meter blocks for $250 to $350 per week depending on the condition of the property.
The suburbs of Balga, Mirrabooka and Girrawheen must be home to one of the most diverse populations. With Nationalities from every corner of the world coming together to live in this great location.
Some of the local attractions include the Friday Balga markets, the Balga Leisure park and Mirrabooka Square.
So maybe next time you are in the market for a rental you may think of looking in Balga, Mirrabooka, Girrawheen or Koondoola.
